Police traced the copies and detained the gang members. The official said the suspects were two national sisters identified as F.M.H., 26, and M.M.H 22, and a 27-year-old Indian typist identified as S.T.

He said S.T made the fake copies and the two sisters distributed them. Murray Scott says he wrote Merlin Nunn after NDP justice critic Kevin Deveaux questioned whether Scott put the Public Prosecution Service in a perceived conflict by making a phone call over a youth justice case. Scott has admitted calling Martin Herschorn, the province's director of public prosecutions, to express concerns about a court order involving Community Services Minister Judy Streatch. Streatch has been ordered to attend a case conference later this month for a 16-year-old girl awaiting sentencing on several charges stemming from incidents at two Halifax-area group homes. Scott, the premier, and officials at the Public Prosecution Service all maintain the minister did nothing wrong by contacting Herschorn.

Attorney Boose turns self in on charges in Masilotti fraud case

Attorney Boose turns self in on charges in Masilotti fraud case
FORT PIERCE -- Attorney William Boose, who represented disgraced former County Commission Tony Masilotti in land deals, surrendered to federal authorities on Monday at the U.S. District Court in Fort Pierce and posted $200,000 bond, news partner NewsChannel 5 reported..

Boose is charged with federal "honest services" fraud for knowing that Masilotti committed fraud in secret land deals but did not report it.
